An opening has arisen for an Audit Manager for a permanent position within a Top 10 UK accounting firm based in Central London. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing an allocated client portfolio, primarily comprising commercial clients, and oversee all stages of the external audit process. This role involves liaising directly with clients to ensure audits are completed efficiently and within deadlines, identifying opportunities for business development, and providing expert advice on financial reporting issues. You will lead audit teams, review their work, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Additionally, there may be opportunities to engage in special project work. The successful candidate will also contribute to the ongoing development of audit staff and participate in departmental management and marketing initiatives.
- ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead audit teams
- Solid understanding of IFRS and UK reporting standards with experience of managing listed entities preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in managing complex clients across various sectors
